Victoria Street is one of my two favourite streets in Edinburgh, the other is Ann Street. It is often photographed, but this is the quirkiest one I've seen yet
I should have posted this yesterday, in memory of John Lee Hooker, a Blues great who passed on June 21, 2001.
This photo is from a club appearance he made in 1987, at Tobacco Road in Miami.
Leica M2, Canon 25mm f/3.5 screw mount lens with an M-mount adapter. Tri-X pushed to 1600 or 3200. Exposure unknown.
I find this stunning in a sort of primordial way!

Had never seen a rose with this colour .. captured during an early-morning walkabout of the gardens outside our local, Rec Centre today.
Glasgow building across from the Moxy Hotel. I was fascinated by this building that was surrounded by an empty lot. I hope it survives. Anyone know anything about it?

Great Wall of China is no easy walk - some sections are quite perilous due to degradation (and scary if you're afraid of heights!)
Elegant! I've never seen a butterfly like it! It's ready for a wedding or a ball! What a beautiful photo.
