That must have been a long ride on that donkey from Vegas....
Definitely! That's why the burro is resting in the shade. 🤣

Oatman has a large number of burros that were abandoned many years ago when a mine closed. They wander into town during the day then back to the hills at night. It's a great place to stop on part of the remaining original sections of Route 66.

What equine wouldn’t want to visit a town called Oatman?

🎍 A hope for a miracle...

View attachment 2211597

Why hope for a miracle? The Earth, vegetation, animals and man being alive interconnectedly is a miracle. Even people taking photos and sharing them with each other and enjoying them together is a miracle.

"What A Wonderful World"

I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying
"I love you"

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll never know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Oh yeah
