you know I love this Stonehenge. It’s just sad what the idiots did to it recently by trying to cover it with orange powder. I’m a historical monument lover and relics of history. But when I see these knuckleheads do this, it just makes me sick. Anyway I love the photo. I’ve been there twice in my lifetime both times work for design history study.

It's a wild foxglove. Nice photo, fresh flower against the old tree and you've caught the flower colour beautifully
Thanks for that! And for the id of the plant -- I could not recall it. Here's a closer view of the flower - taken at the same time, along with a another couple of views.as well. This is only the second time I have ever seen this flower species in this Municipal park (Cameron Park, Burnaby).

Yesterday morning I was not well and had a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. When I went to leave, my car wouldn't start. So, I called AAA, canceled my appointment and waited. When the technician arrived it was just the battery, but after jumping it, he told me it would be a good idea to take it for a drive..so I did. I drove out to the Hot Springs Resort about 10 miles from me, but in all my fluster and frustration, I forgot my camera . Following is one of four photos I took with my phone that actually turned out half-way decent (it's not the phone that's the problem, it's me trying to use it).

This is one of the steaming springs next to the lodge and an old boat house. The woman in pink on the dock is another spectator that was visiting.
