Just happened to hear a plane in the sky when I was setting up my camera, so I immediately pointed the camera up and pressed the shutter. Shot with a Mamiya Six Automat folding camera on Ilford Delta 400 b&w film, developed and scanned at home.

Curcuma Ginger.
Similar to the Red Ginger you referenced.

Awesomeness!

We have a number of yellow-pink (almost abalone) gingers here at our shop that had been in Full-Wow bloom . . . but--when I returned, today--someone had separated the plants:tubers (for propagation), and the blooms were soo-ho-ho pitiful there was nothing even approaching photogenic.

Thank you for sharing yours :)

The elusive 2-Leaf Clover.

7th-take; captured in the Wild; much fiddling (macro photog with an iPhone 13-mini is a labour, if not a love (that bastid camera unit always seems to highlight my fingerprints, rather than the intended POF!! *grr*))

.. thanks for sharing your great photo ... it brought back some fond memories of when we used to have many snails & slugs here, and there for me to observe and enjoy. I have not seen any for a good long while (several years). Seems local pesticide practices, and the like, have worked on eradicating them. We had quite a wonderful variety of slugs and snails (with some fantastic shapes and colours), and many were not 'invasive' species that had to be removed. I miss not seeing them!!
