Too close for comfort, when working in Alaska we were warned about Moose being hostile.

Roses don't attract hummingbird, at least I 've never seen one looking interested

Too close for comfort, when working in Alaska we were warned about Moose being hostile.

We were walking one of the trails in the Eagle River Nature Reserve and found ourselves very close to a number of moose; I can't say it was really intentional. We actively tried to avoid a mother and her cubs who crossed the trail in front of us, stopping in our tracks so we didn't present ourselves as a danger. In this particular photo, I believe the moose saw us before we saw him.
