Amazing weather today so headed up to Loch Lomond again. Took a walk along the East shore from what is becoming my favourite location - Millarochy.

Love the colours in this version. I recall we debated the power lines in a variant of this. Nicely shot

Thanks! I was using a Singh-Ray Gold-N-Blue polarizer (http://www.singh-ray.com/shop/gold-n-blue-polarizer/) for this which saturates the sky more than a standard polarizer. 30 sec exposure @ f/8. There is some moire in the main building which I find distracting. I've been told this would have been mitigated if I'd shot it more stopped down. Haven't gone back to see if I can edit it out, though I remember trying at the time (it's more obvious in the DNG). Doesn't ruin the shot for me, but it's one of those things that I immediately notice when I look at it.
Well calibrate it then! I know a bloke....Thank you. I am experimenting with the dark black and white at the moment. Though I do confess to thinking my montior makes my image look brighter than it is so some look darker than intended.

Looks incredible but at $240 it is a bit pricey. Wish you handnt mentioned the moire. Now I can't unsee it.
That blue sky is a beautiful colour isnt it?

Well if your looking for a new monitor and i1 display I know a bloke who knows a bloke! It's an all in one PoS PC mate...
But yes I know I need to get it sorted. I know when I do it... It's when I sit in my cell (spare room ) and edit in the dark..
It have my colour checker that an absolute gent sorted me out with so I have no excuse.
Agree a few steps to the right to lose the concrete would have worked better for me (assuming it was possible). Not sure this worked very well with the lump of concrete in the foreground?

Well at least your trying! My shutter's probably seized up through lack of use. Been a beautiful weekend but I'm full of cold. I'm off this week so hopefully I'll get better before Friday.Oh yes, there was plenty of space - I was trying to be artistic
