As I've been ill with a bit of a cold I though I'd take the bus to work yesterday so I finally got round to testing my Samyang Fisheye I picked up the other week. Quite impressed to be honest.
I know this area! Just remember the rules of fisheye. Not too often!

But yes it looks like a nice piece of glass.

Closeup of the entry into the ruins. It's mostly sunk into the sand now. It's also at an angle, so looks a bit tilted. I used the level in the camera to get it close.

Maybe they were just short? :p

Looks like a nice place.

Certainly a keeper (especially for £130!) - I'll probably have a few months of going mad with it before leaving it in the kit bag for a few months. That said it's not my first fisheye so I've probably done most of the cliché shots in the past.

I know I'm sort of cheating here (okay, maybe a lot, but it's past the end of the month), but I thought I'd sneak in a septych (????) of my remaining photos from March; we were away on spring break and just got back this morning. I travel with camera gear but don't own a laptop so can't post on the road. ;)
