I keep going back to Hawkshead Church, maybe because there's a bench to sit on: a good place to think things over...

Seems like I've taken my last photo with the old S2 Pro - this is all I can get nowwith every lens and setting I try, including fresh batteries.
CCD burnt out?
What next - I only have very limited funds, so, D50 or D70?
Cheers
Hugh
Already know it will cost more than it's worth, it only cost me 60 quid in the first place.
I've just bought a brand new Nikkor 55-200 VR, lawnmower and strimmer (both broke within a couple of days) and so it's very tight at the mo.
Viciously bright sunlight, an impatient dog and a 35mm lens that doesn't like to focus close up does not make for fun macro insect photography.

Very nice, but it's June already! https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1739797/
Great place Whitby - with some fantastic photo ops when the bi-annual Goth weekends are on. Took the liberty of lightening up your pic (and shaved a bit of dead sky off). Hope you like it..
