Color version of the pic I posted yesterday.
I was shooting through some grass with a long telephoto (200-500 @ 500mm) which accounts for the green haze at the bottom of the bird. Including a small version of the uncropped pic for reference. I prefer the B&W version as the green haze almost looks like mist/fog rather than a mushy green haze.

Nope. I was shooting with it and then...well, I wasn't. It just stopped working at random.
Got a 'communication error' between lens and camera, blah blah...short version = it's now stuck at f22, viewfinder is near black, wont focus. Think it's the aperture motor.
Sounds expensive. Do you get your glass serviced? I never have but am thinking some of my older stuff could do with it.
We used to get the MOD stuff serviced and repaired, but not by Nikon. Think the company was called ACC.

Is Flickr having a moment for everyone? Trying to upload an image from my Mac and computer says no. Tried my usual drag and drop method and the old uploader. Also tried a different image (both images are jpeg).
Can someone upload an image to Flickr to see if its just me?

Least its not me then. I though Flickr had some new algorithm to reject my dull images....Just trying the very same thing, and it's not working from my Mac either, both from the browser or the uploader app.
