A quiet, calm evening with soft light on the waters of Ardwell Bay, SW Scotland. Another from my 'quiet landscape' approach.
I love this particular palette of light. I sometimes stop shooting just to sit and watch it fade into the blue hour :)

Fuji X-T2 & XF 16-55mm f2.8. Not sure which filters but think it was a Lee Filters 0.3 Soft Grad and 0.6 Proglass solid ND.

I tried focus stacking today! Probably went a little overboard because I'm not particularly good at remembering exactly where I focused each time. o_O This is a composite of 18 images at f/9. Likely could have gotten away with fewer layers, but since it was a simple image it didn't take PS too long to put it all together for me. Then some cropping and blurring of the stem to make it a more gradual fade. The combined flowerhead (it's an armeria/sea thrift for you flower people) is smaller than my fingernail.

Thanks for the challenge, @georgeinnj!!

Love it. Really like the way you compose your shots.

BTW got a Lee filter holder, got a firecrest 16, a Lee 0.6 grad and a Lee big stopper so ready to have a bash at this filter malarky...

Hopefully heading up to Loch Katrine/Ben A'an this weekend so I hope I get chance to play

Is it RX100 I, II, III? How do you like it? Can you get a decent bokeh with this camera? I bouhgt QX100 (basically same hardware) as an addition to my iPhone 7 Plus to get better low light performace... Still beeing shipped to my place...

Mine is a Mk II - wonderful camera to strap to your belt and carry everywhere. Not as good as a full DSLR or my Sony A7, but good enough for some decent shots.
I specifically bought the Mk II because of the 28-100mm lens as opposed to the 24-70 of later models, and the hinged screen which the Mk I doesn't have.
Bokeh is possible, ISO up to 1600 is OK.
Here's an example, not a brilliant photo but a good demonstration of the bokeh (taken at f/4)...

Thanks, I appreciate the comment. I find the composition of these type of shots to be very challenging. I initially started with this scene having the rock in the lower left - but it just didn't work. I thought it would to balance the image diagonally with the more visible land on the right hand side. I was wrong. For this scene, I shot with the square format intentionally. A good thing about the X-T2 is that I can select the 1:1 square format and it shows this in my EVF so makes composition much easier.

Looking forward to your results. The 16 stop is good for sunny, bright days to enable relatively long exposures in broad daylight. Bear in mind that if you have Long exposure NR turned on in camera, it will take a dark frame shot at the same exposure length as the actual shot. A 2 mins exposure will still be 2mins, but there will be a 2 min dark frame exposure afterwards. It's a good system for eliminating hot pixels and getting cleaner results. I hate the waiting though, especially on longer exposures. I've actually found myself cancelling an 8 minute exposure halfway through the dark frame NR process before because the light has begun to change for the better. The gamble paid off :)

Very nice. I'm impressed this is unedited and I like that it is different. I'm also reminded of Dr. Seuss' "Horton Hears a Who!".

Thank you! I like this camera a lot. Hope they go even further this year as well. There are, however, some 'aspects' where I feel I would want to do something more (well, anyway...for a mobile phone the camera is great), therefore I decided to supplement it with qx100 for additional experiments.
