Not San Fransisco. Had a couple of hours to kill so drove down to Tombstone (of gunfight @ OK Corral fame). Best bit was a barbecue brisket lunch. Comments always appreciated.

Kind of an antique look, which is what I assume you were going for given the location. Could you share a version in the same style that has slightly more contrast? I think it would still fit the theme and have the same period look but might add a little punch to the image. Doesn't have to be extreme or approach what you do with your current images, but just a little contrast would benefit this in my humble opinion while still keeping the overall antique feel to it.

No problem - the beauty of digital processing!

Outstanding series from Yosemite!

Another cracker. I really like the almost-mono look of this with just a hint of colour. Classy.

This and all the others you've been posting from Yosemite are just stunning. Really great work.

Thank you all very much. It's nice to have a great subject like the views and environment of Yosemite.

Sea Haar over Ardwell Bay, SW Scotland. A style of shot I've wanted to do for ages.

Shot info: Fuji X-T2 with XF 16-55mm f2.8 lens using LEE Filters 0.6 Neutral Density soft graduated filter and Formatt Hitech 0.9 Firecrest solid Neutral Density filter.

This is really nice Mark...wish it was mine!

Hubby washes the car, I photograph the bubbles afterwards. :) Shot with Canon 80D and 100mm macro.

Question on this photo- I wanted the sun to refract in the bubbles- is the sun refractioning? I have never done refraction photography before. I think is it refraction, but wanted to be sure as this is new to me.

Technically yes, you are seeing the refraction of the surroundings. If you have a macro lens, get up close on those drops. That would give a wider view of the refracted area.

Peter, I loved these series of photos from Yosemite, one of my favorite national parks in the US.
Thanks very much Florian. It really is a spectacular place.

Btw, for anyone planing on going to Yosemite for photography, I purchased the IOS app "Yosemite Photographer's Guide" by Michael Frye Photography. It tells you when to go, where to go, time of day, where to point your camera, etc and includes maps. It's really good.
