Technically yes, you are seeing the refraction of the surroundings. If you have a macro lens, get up close on those drops. That would give a wider view of the refracted area.

Thank you for your response. Refraction photography is new to me- first time doing it. I did use a macro lens, but I probably could have gone it a little closer. Thanks for the tip. I am going to try this type of photography again.

Forcados begin wrestling a bull into submission. The lances are affixed to the bull's back via Velcro and were put there by a Cavaleiro. The purpose of the first guy attacking the bull is to hang on to the bull's head, and keep its eyes covered, to give the other 7 forcados time to pile on. The bull is sent to pasture after the "fight."
