Another long exposure of the Newport bridge, this one taken from the bridge to Goat Island.

135mm Batis lens, 86 sec exposure at f/9 and ISO 100. Was using a 13 stop ND filter that day and one could argue that the pic would have benefitted from a longer exposure with a 16 stop ND filter to further blur the clouds and make the sky less in conflict with other elements in the frame for visual dominance. But I actually like the way this turned out ;)

U.K.
I often lose the path when I'm in a walk!

Thanks. I am really happy with this image. I only wish I got a bit more DOF so that the ant on the dragon’s head was in focus.

I hadn't noticed the Ant, what a wonderful shot. Looks like he has great spot and is unlikely to end up being dinner up there.
Great picture.

Great portrait! These guys were everywhere in the city of Brisbane when we were there last September! They let you get up really close too!

Thanks! Some of them are quite tame.

This year ANZAC day fell while we were in Australia. This is a national day of remembrance that New Zealand shares with Australia, specifically commemorating the disastrous WW1 Gallipoli campaign by Australian and New Zealand forces. It was strangely moving to attend the dawn service at the beach in Surfers Paradise

Dropping in after getting poked by Alexander.Of.Oz’s thread. So much stuff to do, so little time. But hey, I have a good excuse to post fresh stuff now after spending a week in the Mojave Desert. iPhone pics because if I wait until I get to my laptop to post anything, I will post nothing.

I really enjoy the multi-angular design of the new section of the Adelaide Convention Centre, and suspected that there would be some great explorations of it possible at sunset!
