A selection of touristy pics to follow I'm afraid. Where else but San Francisco? All the desert and SF photos taken with my M3. Comments always appreciated.

That one is 1 of 400 built. My Dad had one in the early sixties.Beautiful! San Francisco is easily one of my favorite cities. I look forward to seeing more pictures from there.

Thanks! It would be nice to ride in or drive a 356 one day.

I was in Yosemite and San Francisco in February. Went to Yosemite to photograph the Horsetail Fall "Firefall". Unfortunately the Firefall didn't happen this year as it was too cold and the water run-off above El Capitan hadn't started yet. With hindsight, I was happier to get shots with weather other than blue sky and bright light on the peaks - we even had snow on the ground at times.
I liked the uniform background of this one as well as the little guy all on his own.
Maybe it should be called where did all the flowers go?

Luck! I also miss quite a few. And this wasn't with my fast glass. A 70-300 3.5-5.6.That looks alot like one of the desktop pictures on my imac, in fact, i think you have taken it from a very similar aspect to the actual imac picture. That is really nice, you did a good job of getting the reflections, my only criticism, if i may, is the clouds (reflected) at the very bottom of the picture, they are a little fuzzy and dont fit with the sharpness of the rest of the shot. Only a minor criticism (and from an absolutely useless photographer - so they mean nothing!) of an otherwise superb picture.
Nicely done.

The simplicity of this shot is fantastic, i love the blue colour and it really sets off the bee/wasp? It just stands out and has great motion in his wings too.
I have no idea how you managed to capture it flying, i would've been looking through my lens for hours trying to find him, i have trouble spotting birds through the lens, i would have no chance with him.
Really like this one, well done, AFB.
Thank you kindly. It was taken at Kinver's edge.OMG THAT’s awesome.!
Nice. Like the PP.

You've gone over to the dark side then! Enjoy your new camera. Looking forward to seeing the results.Alright.
I am happy to be back to a full frame body after about 2 years, back when I sold my 6D. Been using crop bodies during this period, even for paid jobs (A6000, A6500, 100D).
This time around, my choice is a used A7RII. It's been in my hands since last Saturday, but hadn't had much time experimenting with it photographically. Weirdly, I used it for video at a wedding on Sunday.
I think it is definitely noteworthy to mention that all my lenses felt, and still feel weird frame-wise, and a bit exposure wise too. I have gotten so used to the crop factor frame that I am going through an adjustment period, or withdrawal.
I am trying not to go too heavy on needless clicking as these files are huuuuge. A compressed raw is about 40mb, uncompressed, double that. And as you might have guessed, I am going for uncompressed glories atm.
So, here is a shot from today that gave me a chance to overboost saturation and frankly, I do not hate it. I am also having a blast at the less noise this camera produces.
Ok, I am shutting up.
ps, should have gone for f3,5 or something

Apple would be lucky to have that for a screen saver! Nicely done.

I've been told I'm mowing the lawn tomorrow! Should I pick the dandelions first?Of course! You know my garden is a post apocalyptic wasteland.

Did mine the other week and had to avoid the frogs living in their. We don't even have a pond.Oh mate I mowed mine today for the first time in a couple of weeks and it was like a jungle. I had to empty the mower hopper every 30 seconds. Plus the dandelions has gone mental and it looked like a rape field at the top of the garden.
A combination of constant rain and feeling unwell meant it had gotten even more out of control than usual. If I didn’t have tortoises I’d put artificial grass down in a heartbeat.
