To celebrate the purchase of a new tripod, here's a long exposure shot. (my old Manfrotto had leg issues, didn't help when I bent one of them in some railings)

Was working in Milan last week and lucky enough to have a weekend to myself. I took a few photos on and around Lake Como. This was from one of the little townships around the edge.

My girls were off down to London this past weekend so I took a drive North to Loch Rusky in the Trossachs. There are a number of rowing boats there and I have seen images of them on glass smooth water in the mist. So I thought I would do a recon mission to see if it is somewhere I want to go to on an early morning shoot some time i.e. later in the year when dawn isnt at 4am! I got some images which were OK I suppose but not overly happy with them.
I took some advice on processing and here is one of them that I quite like. Hope you do too.
