Back to the archives - London skyline from Greenwich Park, infrared shot...

Cheers :)

That’s an awesome shot.

Where did you take this one from? Near the restaurant at the top of the hill?! It’s been so long since I’ve been there.

Must have been up by the Observatory I reckon as that's where we parked.
I always meant to go back as it's a great open space, with some good pubs in the town, but somehow events overtook us ;)

Cheers :)

I worked in Greenwich when they were building the dome (not on the dome). Very pretty in parts.
Not surprised my geography was off. I’ve not lived down South since 2001.

We have a surprising amount of birds in our neighborhood, despite being on the outskirts of a city.
This was taken just a few minutes ago out my office window! (He woke me up...) Continuing to try out that old telephoto lens I was given. Took it completely apart, gave it a good, thorough cleaning, and checked the optics on it. This is fully extended (300mm) on my old Canon XTi (circa 2006!) and in manual mode, it's much better than it was when I got it.

I really like this shot. Then again, I am partial to abstract-like shots on occasion. Also, it is very nice to have you back contributing. :)

The state flag of Maryland has a definite you either love it or hate it vibe. I've always kind of loved it, even before I moved here 31 years ago after finishing college (I'm now feeling somewhat old).

The baby robins started leaving the nest today. Here’s the first one to leave right before making her first flight and then sitting up in a tree afterwards. I hope they do well!
