@mollyc encouraged me to dig some film scans out of my archives, so I just pulled out my dearly loved and now retired 2012 15" MBP to do just that.
Here's the first one I honed in on. This was taken back in 2015. I'd just gotten my first "real' job out of graduate school, albeit working in the same building and same department where I'd earned that degree.
I treated myself to something I'd wanted for a while-a medium format SLR. I settled on a Bronica SQ-A, and it arrived from KEH shortly thereafter. As usual for KEH orders, I had it shipped to work to avoid signature problems, so it arrived along with a separate box full of film from KEH. I wasted no time loading up a roll of Tri-X and walking around the building.
This gentleman was a lab mate and also a friend. I snapped him hard at work at his fume hood in the lab, and actually was pleasantly surprised at the result.
As said, Bronica SQ-A with an 80mm f/2.8 lens and Tri-X film. I would have developed this in D-76 1:1.
