Well, this car was certainly an attention-getter at the local Cars & Coffee this weekend. It was kind of hard not to notice that's for sure.

Neon Orange Hot Rod by Lance Randall, on Flickr
Yup.

That car has actually been demoed throughout the country, recently in Detroit from a year back if I recall. It’s a ‘resto-mod’, where the owner invested like $75,000 into the drive train, chopped roof, paint and custom fabrication. Pretty insane, and a ‘one off’ design that nobody else has.

If there is a sign posted for Uckfield, has anyone added an F ?
The UK is home to a LOT of funny/naive naming of places. Worth googling for a chuckle during a quiet moment. I am firmly of the belief that on these someone met in a room and decided to have a giggle seeing how far they could get before someone cottoned on and stopped them, just to have to go through with it as no one twigged.

google "rude uk place names" for a laugh

A surprise on our lake: a Wood Duck! I know he looks as though he's swimming in a vat of caramel sauce, but unfortunately the lake is that color today following several storms we had last evening and overnight. I'm hoping he'll stick around and I'll be able to get more shots of him on a day when it's sunny with blue skies and the water looks nice, to really show off his beautiful coloring.

It was either in 2005 or 2007. During one of my two weekend stays (3 days, two nights) at Alcatraz. Guessing the time was around 6am or so.
Oh wow! No wonder the SFO skyline looks different. The Sales Force tower is definitely missing from that photo. Such an excellent photo. Thanks for sharing :)
