Didn’t know that you have been visiting Denmark?🙂
Didn’t know that you have been visiting Denmark?🙂
If you don’t mind me asking, what did you think about it?
I think personally it’s quite beautiful.
Off topic; I have travelled over that bridge many times with friends to buy alcohol in Germany😅😅
While working on a job in SF back in the 80's, I found out that a classmate from High School had an office in the building. We only had 30 kids in our class and she became a lawyer with her own office in the building. Don't remember anything about the interior except I looked at her window at the Hilton where I was staying couple blocks away.
🫸🏻 TRANSAMERICA PYRAMID 🫷🏻🕰️ Ahead of its time since 1972, the Transamerica Pyramid is San Francisco’s most iconic building. Encompassing an entire city block in San Francisco’s Financial District, one of the most sought-after global gateway cities in the world, the Transamerica Pyramid Center is a symbol of the strength of San Francisco. The second tallest building in the San Francisco Skyline. 🙋🏻♀️ Personally, it is my favorite building in San Francisco, California. 💫

“The word iconic is overused but it’s truly an iconic building, it’s a piece of history. It’s about responding to a very specific climate of a city, it’s about health, it’s about sustainability, it’s about green.” Lord Norman Foster, Foster + Partners

Thanks for telling us your story. It was some years ago when I was working with NATO in Belgium & Germany - I took a few days off in Copenhagen. It was a short visit but I really enjoyed it - a beautiful city and friendly people. I'd love to get back to Denmark but also more - your country, Norway, & Finland. And I bet that bridge is a great drive.
We moved from SF to where we are now in Tahoe but in the 90's during the DotCom bubble there were crazy parties in crazy places.... We had a party in the top room of the pyramid where you have a 360 of the bay area. While working on a job in SF back in the 80's, I found out that a classmate from High School had an office in the building.
