I like it... I would have cut a bit of the bottom to have a square image and get some highlights so the embroidery pops out more. The blurry background is really interesting but the single color of the fabric is to much empty space for me (someone else might completely disagree). But like I started out with I think the subject is really interesting.

Is that with a cam or with a phone? Holy moly either way
🙏🏻 Thank you! Taken from iPhone 14 Pro Max. 🥰

I have a different view from the Space Needle.

Very nice shot! You are lucky you got to capture the mountains in the background. In February, I was in Seattle for four days hoping to see the mountains but it was rainy and foggy every single day. Very unlucky! 😔

FedEx didn't deliver until 5:30PM so at 6:00 ran across the street to the lake for the "virgin" test of a new lens, taking 4 photos. Posting this before heading out this morning with the new 200-600 playtoy. :) That was handheld in the waning light as didn't take the time to attach an Arca-Swiss baseplate to it for tripod/monopod mounting.

Nice shot! Something you might want to consider: replacing the factory foot with a Wimberley foot, which is a bit longer, has the Arca-Swiss built in, and feels a bit more stable than the removable one Sony provides. This was advice given to me when I bought my 200-600mm and I'm glad that I took it. Wimberley provides all the tools needed to install the new foot and the old one comes off quite easily, of course. I think a couple of other companies also provide replacement feet for the 200-600mm (and the 100-400 GM as well as the new 70-200mm GM II) but since I have a Wimberly gimbal head on one of my tripods I chose to go with that brand.
