A broader look at the Wetlands I go to. Saw this as I was walking but 200-600 on the camera was way too long a lens for landscape, so out came the iPhone. Tomorrow, some of the other photos taken with the camera.

My two cents. I generally take my camera everywhere I go. Getting gas in the car, shopping. Granted my camera is small, and can fit in my pocket. So it travels.
It’s a good advice!
Assuming that you have your iPhone with you?
I have my iPhone with me every day when I’m working, but for the most time I forget to take a moment and look for a good image. Time is also against me🙂
One can always be better.

Been forever since I've posted in POTD, so here we go! This is an interesting photo I took in 2021 when ice formed on the grass in the back yard. Can't say it's an amazing photo, but I think it captures the scene well enough. I also had to resample the image to 1/4 size, because it was a 24 MP NIKON RAW image, so pardon the embarrassingly bad quality—I can taste the pixels lol (the original image is MUCH better :) ).

Are you near the Viera Wetlands? Years ago when I was in Florida on a photo trip with friends, we spent time in various places in Florida including Merritt Island, Viera, and some other places I can't recall now. Some park where there were eagles nesting and, oh, yes, how could I forget the wonderful Alligator Farm (I think that's the name?) Anyway, from what I now am hearing from friends in Florida, Viera Wetlands has been drastically changed so that it really is no longer a good place to go for photography, which is really sad.

I have seen more mobile phone photography as of late. I am starting to venture to the dark side - mobile phone images. Currently I shoot with a Ricoh GR iiix.
