Hot air balloon season starting again…
Snapped out of the living room window — the clouds were low and the balloons gaining altitude… making me seem to be floating along.

👍 That's right. Georgian/Victorian/Edwardian London is mostly built from a rather (ugly) dark brick… and Bath and the Cotswolds from light sandstone.Oh dear, I need to look up more pics of 10 Downing Street, it's just while I love cats and dogs, most world leaders' photos make feel unwell. Bath btw is on my bucket list of destinations in the UK. Edit: Well even more embarrassed, No. 10 Downing is made with dark blue (?) brick.
Hope you make it over here… it's a lovely city. And the surrounding countryside even lovelier. 🙂

Gator (yesterday's POTD) blocked path, and vultures blocked escape in the other direction. I'm trapped as they await the spoils from the gator!

Shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max and edited in Lightroom. What A Diff'rence A Day Made springs to mind - 24 hours or so later and it was overcast with light rain!
(Having just watched "The Birds", some of the photos today are creeping me out! 🤣)
