Thanks! I have just got my first DSLR (a200) and got a Tamron 70-300mm lens with it so I went to London Zoo to take it for a spin. Im really pleased with the results I got considering they are both 'budget' pieces of kit. Really enjoying my photography now. This was taken at 300mm.

I used a 55-200mm Lens on my Nikon D40 at 200mm. He was relatively close to begin with though (<1.5 meters?)

Our little halloween party got a little out of control. I handed the camera to my wife before I climbed in the coffin and told her to just keep taking photos.

The oblique morning light was challenging...I blame my kit lens.
So far, I have been nearly useless at capturing motion in photos, I'm only getting results with static landscapes, macro shots and so forth.
I love looking at everyones' photos, they're great.
I just got my 50d last week and am still getting used to being able to shoot at up to 200mm. For some reason I've started to take photos of birds, even though I hate the things!!

Technically not taken in November, but I just got home from a three day trip to study invertebrate communities and this pic was one of the few that made my day.
