Lovely shot - believe it or not I'm about to post something from the very same spot that I took yesterday during a spare hour in the city. Small world. IMHO one of the best free attractions in London (not that many things are free there....)

We call it Remembrance Day or Armistice day depending on who you ask. Some just call it Poppy Day.
It's a number of years since I visited London.
