What specifically did you do in PS?
Clouds are a huge problem for this sort of thing indeed AFB.
I shot this with the 70-200 mm, D810 and tripod. Lots of shots but this one is a composite of two. I shot the moon at
200 mm, 1/160 sec, f8 and ISO 200. I then shot the antenna tower at
70 mm, 6.0 sec, f8 and ISO 200 from a point further back and from an angle that didn't include the moon. The idea was to have the moon appear larger in the frame and in relation to the tower than it really was.
I blended the two shots as layers in Ps using "Lighten" at 100% as the blend method.

@Apple fanboy I'd say its a composite. I don't think you can get stars like that without blowing the moon out.
