So many photos taken on my trip to Mexico last week.

First Snow of the season! Winter's getting an early start......
Cactus, Monterey Marina, Monterey CA
D80, Nikkor 18-200 zoom at 200mm. f/11, 1/40 iso 280
It is unusual for the Washington, DC area to have snow THIS early!! Temps are significantly lower than usual for November. Some years we have very little snow at all and other years we have gotten walloped (Snowmageddon, for instance)..... First Nature gave us a long, hot summer followed by a surprisingly warm September and October, and now -- this?!!!

If you could have anyone from the past, present or future walk along this carpet of beech leaves to sit down with you on the bench for just 10 minutes, who would you chose?

About the image:
The Birks of Aberfeldy are an amazing place in autumn and this view just clicked for me - stirring my mind to think of a way where I could be creative and portray the scene with a surreal look combined with a sense of escapism. It's a huge departure from the norm for me, not only because it features a man-made object (I rarely shoot these kind of things) but because I have used a lot of creative license in the process. I've taken the editing a lot further than what I normally do with my images, so please view it with an open mind.
Shot info: Fuji X-T2 with XF 16-55mm f2.8 lens using Formatt Hitech Firecrest 105mm Polarising filter.
1/4s / f8 / ISO 400
...and a fair bit of Lightroom and Photoshop editing!

That's a lovely image.....why not post it right here in this thread rather than using a link to Instagram?
I normally do that but just uploaded that one to Instagram and got lazy.

We had snow here today as well, but other than my kids being off from school I refused to acknowledge it. Instead my daughter and I baked and she played with my camera after I set a strobe up in the kitchen. Clearly I need to work on this type of photography. :/
