Does the ZS200 have the ability to display the histogram while shooting?
It does indeed although it took some extended, don't hold your breath while doing this, menu diving to find it. Pretty sure there are a lot of other bells and whistles of which I am still blissfully ignorant. I am far more likely to just grab a bracket series if I am unsure and really care about capturing that particular image.

One feature I really like is the level indicator. Shows both horizon and tip/tilt. Should make hand held panorama sequences an absolute breeze.

Then there is the ultimate touch screen feature-bug. I've been sticking with the pinpoint focusing mode and by touching the screen you can pick an off center focus point. Far more reliable than focusing then shifting if the point of focus is off-centre. However that feature comes with a built in bug. It is far too easy to touch an edge of the screen. If you're not alert the focus point is miles away from the intended target.

Yeah, I like the Panasonic approach to the histogram. It shows orange until you get to the preferred exposure, then it turns white. I don’t always shoot at this setting, but being at or around that setting (+/- a stop or two) usually ends up with the best result to work with later. Highlight zebras is another good one to use.

This is a throwback photo from South Florida this summer on vacation. When I was walking through a really dense/wooded area on a nature walk, above me, was this nest that was built out of old palm leaves and other debris. It was a rather large nest (Probably 3.5 feet all the way around), and I couldn’t figure out what type of bird actually built that nest, and it was only maybe 12 feet off the ground.

I’m not too familiar with the wildlife down this far in South Florida, but if anybody has any ideas what bird that could’ve built this, I’d be curious to know.

Something different. I have always been in to astrophotography but never attempted. I saw where you can adjust the exposure time out to 30 secs in the native Camera app if the phone is stabilized. So I set it up on a chair in my back yard just to see what I could get. I unfortunately live around some street lights so there is some ambient light coming through but this was the result out of my 13 Pro. Probably one of the few times in my life I’ve seen the Milky Way! Now I want to use a DSLR and go to the top of one of the many mountains around here.

Another through the window shot from the learning curve. Need to pay attention to shutter speed. Yes I can handhold at 1/160 when zoomed in all the way. However your average Stellar Jay won't be that co-operative. Other lesson learned; This camera has better auto-focus options than the one I used capturing this image. Lighting was rather flat, you'll forgive me giving it a little help after the fact.

Walking around a local preserve last weekend and saw this . Reminded me of the Monet Waterlily paintings , so took the shot . Probably should have brought the focus in a bit to get at least some of the lily pads into focus . Maybe I'll go out there tomorrow and try again ...
