One from my lawn. Used a mini tripod and Westcott ice light 2. I should have moved my focus and focus stacked it.

Follow up from yesterday’s photo. No longer have the hematoma and should go home today. Surprised on the messaging system of status to wife, how long the surgery actually was - over 2 hours. Turns out mor complex than anticipated (but Doctors love challenges). Everyone who views is amaze at the three different stitch systems interlinking with the pump. Apparently it began compartmentalizing with calcification. Plus there was a blood clot which is atypical for this type of injury. Should go home today…but several weeks before. Can drive.View attachment 1903205
Glad surgery went well!

this is really lovely. did you layer exposures together?

I did take a couple of bracketed exposures, but the one I posted was a single exposure.

God that is stunning. What was this shot on?

Below is the EXIF data. I did use an ND Grad filter as well as a 6 stop filter to be able to use a longer shutter speed.

The D850 is a lovely Camera. My wife shoots with a 750 and has invested all her money in glass, but she’s antsy to get the 850.

A little bit earlier in the morning from yesterday's shot. Pink sunrises and orange sunsets tend to be the rule in Denver. Behind me, there were some clouds that were shortly to interfere with the sunrise making a lot of the subsequent images much flatter, including yesterday's. I need to go do a "classic" Denver city shot from further behind me at the other end of the park near the Museum of Nature and Science. It sits up on a small hill with a better view of the skyline. With a longer lens (this was ~50mm equivalent) you get the compressed view of the mountains that make them look like they're right up against the city. This is the view you often see in tourist stuff (https://www.coloradophotosource.com/project/photos-of-denver-skyline-and-city-park/)
