As colder and more inclement weather arrives for many of us, chances are that the next few months will not have that many landscape images but there'll be an increase in shots easily taken indoors such as macros and closeups, tabletop scenes, etc..... :D
I'll post lots of ugly sweater selfies.

Or birds and squirrels sniped through my sunroom window. Sometimes I even “rough it” and open the window. :D Though really where I live, just wait a few days and the weather changes, often drastically!

For me, outdoor shots will usually be when I run out to the deck and quickly fire off some shots of whatever bird action is going on in the lake at the time..... No lingering outside, either, in cold weather -- just take the shots and get back into the warm house!

Speak for yourself. I have always believed that the best shots are made under the worst weather conditions. Period.

This was taken last night on one of the many hiking/ATV trails on my land. On this night I was hiking solo with my tent, backpack and a spotlight. I was about 17 miles from my house and decided to camp out in the woods. During this walk it was quiet and peaceful - until I encountered the nearby shrieking of a pack of coyotes who most likely found a small deer for supper. If anyone has ever heard their yipping in unison rather close by, it is unsettling at the very least. As someone who does not hunt with a gun, I always feel bad for the deer that fall victim to the coyotes. To see mom, dad, and the little ones all together is a site to behold.

Of course, there are some wonderful photo ops when snow is falling or has just freshly fallen, and additional photo ops when there's a lot of icicles hanging from various laces..... Or the rare times when we've had massive amounts of snow fall...... I may or may not venture forth to shoot at such times, and the older I get the less willing I am to actually do so.

Darmok, I fully expected you and others here to come to her defense…it was only a matter of time. I disagree with your reasoning. Her meaning was very clear. If you wish to argue this further - I won’t back down. She has a history of shoving her ideology on this forum. Your turn.

That doesn't look like a weather condition, it looks like a scene from a horror movie. Where a pack of zombie coyotes are chasing you. You brave soul.
