Another astrophotography photo shot on my 13 Pro. I think the bright object just above center right might have been Andromeda.

Experimenting with new camera - Sigma dp2 Quattro.
Some more reflected images.
I am attracted to this camera's image quality in black and white. The color images I have seen online are brilliant. The camera's Foveon sensor is an interesting option over the traditional Bayer sensor. Also considered an older Sigma Merrill.
My workflow in Lightroom has changed; Lightroom does not currently support Sigma's X3F raw files. Many hours research online viewing other's comments on their workflow with X3F. I believe I found a workable solution. Looking forward to expanding my skills and vision with this camera, and sharing them with you.

This through the window shot was taken before I switched from single block to pinpoint focusing, close but not right on the money. ISO was 800 plus some cropping.

Close look at two plants in an outside courtyard flower pot - thought it invoked a sort of "Christmasy feel". Camera on my iPad Mini 6.

I like the reference to Jimi Hendrix, had the rare opportunity to see him live in Rochester NY when I was in college.
There was an app available at the App Store about three years ago that shows me all the stars (planets, etc.) on the night sky. I sometimes use it when taking photos of the Auroras. This app was called, "Sky Guide." The payment for it was full price up front (around $4.00), with free updates (I never download apps that require to pay while you use it). While I still get the free updates, I not longer see it at the App Store.

Taken from Grizzly Peak in the bay area early in the morning as the fog was rolling in. No photoshop here, it looks like two horizons but the fog seems to give it that effect.
I can’t help but notice that November has had a lot of quality landscape shots.
As colder and more inclement weather arrives for many of us, chances are that the next few months will not have that many landscape images but there'll be an increase in shots easily taken indoors such as macros and closeups, tabletop scenes, etc.....
