This was one of those wicked lighting shots. Tried working from RW2 and from the camera JPEG, results were about the same. Admittedly my RAW skills are at the infantile stage, or it could be that AffinityPhoto is just not the right weapon. Not sure this shot was worth the effort, but stacked over & under exposures would have been a sounder approach.

Tough exposure. Looks like the camera tried to get the best of both, lights and darks. Perhaps exposing for the hi-lights and adjusting the shadows in post processing. Spot metering could have helped.
