It’s actually not that new a thing for phones. When I had an LG G4 (about 5 years ago), the default camera app was able to do 30s exposures. I still have fond memories of that old phone, rear buttons and all.

Hey you know Apple is always late to the party!

LG was actually one of the first to do it, if I remember right. It was one of the first smartphones that had people thinking, “can this replace my dedicated camera?” It was for me, at least for a time. The trick though, was you had to put it on a tripod to get those long exposures, but it worked, and it was easy. Now some of them you don’t even need a tripod!

So learned something yesterday. For whatever reason when I ordered the monitor I thought it was 16:9 (1920x1080). Thankfully it is 16:10 (1920x1200). Furthermore it scales beautifully to 1600x1000, (but not in Snow Leopard). A screen resolution which I find to be much more comfortable.
Anyways a cracker shot I seemingly failed to post earlier.
