Unfortunately, the calls will keep on coming. Terrible when self employed dependent on new clients not in your contact list and voicemail message is to leave message, text or email. When I am with a client, that is their time and rude to answer - wife knows not to call...but I can sneak a look at messages from her and others, and judge critical nature of issue for followup - immediate crisis (on way to ER) or general (loaf of bread on way home).
Overseas, international rates apply, paying for people wanting to buy my house or sell me a warranty on a car I traded in three years ago. Worse, checking voicemail is a phone call with international rates, so text/email only which is for me free, and if need to call, coordinate FaceTime/Skype connection.

HWY 1 near Half Moon Bay in the Bay Area.

I remember this area well. In 1984 I was the Project Manager for ASUCLA's support venues out side of the Olympic village. I was working for a Design/Build firm in Toronto and got assigned the job. I made a deal with them if they would pay for my sport bike to be air freighted to LAX, I would not charge them mileage, plus saved renting a car. Later I had my wife's bike loaded on a trailer of carts and kiosks built in Toronto, and when the Olympics started she had come visit and we took off for the Bay area. First stop was Laguna Seca for a Super Bike race. We slept on cardboard under our bikes. After the race we headed North, didn't realize how cold and damp CA could be in July and August. We were frozen by the time we hit Half Moon Bay and stayed over there. We moved to Glendale CA not long after. First of many times I rode Highway 1 from LA to Laguna with friends I made at the races that day.

Nope! Now that you mention it, though, it does kind of look like one, doesn't it? Actually, it's a tall lamp on my chest of drawers, and I got to looking at it and seeing the possibilities, especially if converted to B&W. Shot it with the iPhone 12 Pro, since I had it handy while I was standing there staring at the lamp, contemplating this. Next, I processed it normally first in DXO PhotoLab 5, then used the plugin version of Silver Efex (part of the NIK Collection) to convert to B&W, adding a bit of grain to give that old-fashioned "film look" as well. I enjoy doing this sort of thing, looking at something everyday and ordinary and seeing what I can do with it to make it look interesting and different.

Can't universally block all calls as need new clients that are not in the contact list yet, plus some desirable calls where an office may have a range of numbers supporting each extension. I do individually lock as received, but an endless supply of numbers to spoof makes it useless. Many of those "local" numbers are located out of State. Sometimes will answer those indicating from Geneva, FL or Christmas, FL which are small local communities that have more squirrels than people, then when I ask questions about the area and the have to admit are from San Francisco confront them on deceit and why should I buy from a deceitful person I can't trust. That one labeled "China Mainland" when opened it up to block was using a NY phone number. That weird "V" number was listing a local city phone number.

Ray I'm in complete agreement here. I also limit the resolution of images I post online. Were I truly paranoid I could even reduce the jpeg quality to say a 6 or 7. Would still look good at the size posted but would quickly fall apart if anyone tried to interpolate up.

That said I do have a few images that have sold quite well for me over the years. Those I will not post on-line, even though I no longer have the ability to print them photographically.
Thanks
