Thanks. This is one of five fawns that have been traveling with one doe. I know of one mom who had an unfortunate hook-up with a cougar. Perhaps another one or two does met a similar fate. All of the babies are a bit small for this late in the fall.

Had a similar sunset with "virga" a couple years ago. Virga being rain that doesn't quite reach the ground. Looks like you have some of that going on. He's a couple pics of that sunset. Never seen anything like it in our area before or since.
Virga reminds my of something about being a virgin. I have never heard rain being called "virga" in Spanish. I stand corrected as follows: Virga is exactly what you posted above (just found the meaning of it):

Something a little different. Surgery today resolving a hematoma from a bicycling accident a year ago that didn't resolve on it's own. (High speed road rash slide and the hematoma is where the handlebar was between me and the asphalt.)
Again, shot with 13 Pro, no filters. This was one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve seen. We woke up our daughters to see this one.
