Wild Rose And Wind Belt
Caught these Pelicans on a river strip last summer. Was somewhat surprised that I was able to get a nice 12x18 print cropped down from about 15x20 inches. Of course just after I caught this image, my boat started to swing away and I was unable to get a shot of them taking off in perfect formation.

I'm not sure that I'll ever really be "finished" with this. It was a more interesting project than I anticipated and actually more rewarding too. But I am done with a deliberate, "look for something every day," thought process now; I did seven days in a row. Some days I took more than one and ended up with several to share, but we can only share one a day here, of course.

This is the last one I took yesterday, after I had already posted in this thread. It might actually be my favorite out of all of them. Hard for me to choose between this one and the pantry one.

Truly beautiful. I love the height it was taken, and the color of the chair is no doubt exactly the same as in the photo. Gives a warmth atmosphere. Excellent photo - you're good at this.

Memorial at the World War II transit camp Westerbork.

From Wikipedia: Notable prisoners in Westerbork included Anne Frank, who was transported to Camp Westerbork on 4 August 1944,[5] as well as Etty Hillesum, each of whom wrote of their experiences in diaries discovered after the war.[6] Frank remained at the camp in a small hut until 3 September, when she was deported to Auschwitz.[
