Another one from my early Navy days. This is Naples, Italy from my first Mediterranean Cruise on an aircraft carrier called the USS Nimitz in 1979. An interesting little boat harbor with people having fun, and Mount Vesuvius in the background. Taken with a Canon AE-1, and Kodak Plus-X Pan film.

I'll spare everyone shots of my modest little condo apartment -- not large and spacious, nothing fancy, but it's home. The best features of it and this community most viewers here have already seen many times -- the lake. When I bought this lakefront unit I was far more interested in the lake and the resident wildlife than the apartment itself. LOL!

The kitchen here does not have a pantry, so one of my first purchases was an antique Sellers cabinet, which is what I use as a pantry / storage of cans and jars of nonperishable foods, etc. There is a small external shelf which works nicely for small spice jars. Larger ones go on one of the internal shelves. This cabinet offers plenty of space for storage of a lot of items, including, yes, one drawer being designated the infamous "junk drawer." We all have one of those, don't we?

We have a larder cupboard too. When it was being made I asked for narrow shelves with a bar across to be added to the inside of the doors. Works a treat for spice jars!

i actually haven’t used it in months as i have a mbp now as my daily computer. 🙂 but i have a luna display that i keep meaning to try to set up to use the imac as a monitor.

but otherwise the new power supply seemed to have worked. 🙂

When I was a young lad visiting Florida for the first time and went for the first time to a drive-through wild animal park, I took a photo of a lioness lounging by the roadside, and in the background unbeknownst to me were two more lions doing the deed. I should find that photo and scan it, now that I know that this kind of blue content is permitted here.
