it’s actually the other way around at my feeders. We get cardinals all year, but since they’re ground feeders they’re usually at ground level. But once the snow comes and the ground is covered, I get them up at the feeders much more.View attachment 2108398A Cardinal - this late in the year, they're not as easy to find.
Here in Southwestern Alberta, Canada as well. Though there is also a bit too much white. However we had a glorious fall and I still have a few shots patiently awaiting their turn.Here in the south of Sweden everything is boring and grey right now, and almost no leaves in the trees.
