Looked at it. Looked at it. Rotated it. I give up; what is it? Besides being VERY beautiful!

Thank you! This is a very intimate, closeup/macro shot of one of the pollen-laden anthers of a lily. I had edited the image in the usual way but didn't like it all that much and my eye kept being drawn to look at that dominating anther. Finally I decided, "OK, let's do a major crop!" and that made all the difference. Glad you like it!

That's insane. I live several hours south and nearly all our leaves are already gone. I can't believe there are so many green ones there!

Same here. I live in Cary, NC about 8 hours south of NYC, and we have no green leaves. In fact, a good deal of our trees have lost most of their leaves already. Maybe that's a miracle trade center tree?
