Thank you! For most of my macro shots I use the Sony A7R IV (which has very high resolution) and one of my macro lenses, most frequently the Sony 90mm f/2.8 lens. The high resolution allows for cropping without destroying the overall image quality. In this particular situation, though, I was considering doing quite a drastic crop so took the image into Topaz Gigapixel and did a 2x increase, then cropped to the extent I had in mind. There is a fairly new software program out now called "Radiant Photo," and this image seemed to be a good candidate for that, so ran it through there, too, before adding a touch more sharpening and then the title. I don't always tinker with my images this much, but to me with this one, it seemed worth the effort and I was happy with the end result.

If you spend even a little time in little towns, you will see some strange things. That much, is for sure.
When the sun started peaking over the mountains this morning, there was a gorgeous amber light. Unfortunately, it didn't translate through my iPhone's lens (or software). Ignore the neighbor getting ready to leave.

I was thinking the same about your photo! It's gorgeous!! I like your composition and approach -- this is such a lovely image.
Bottom line is when standing outside with our cameras and lenses considering what to shoot, we both saw and were appreciating the contrasts in color between the leaves and the blue sky, and the play of light with shadows and full backlighting and sun......
