While enjoying the Michigan vs Ohio State game (Go Blue!), I managed to take some photos, though they weren't the best. Knowing there was a Red-tailed hawk nearby, I had my camera ready. Just before halftime, I spotted the hawk perched on a tree a few houses away, across the street. I approached as close as legally possible without trespassing and took several shots. Only a few turned out well, captured as the hawk was flying away.
Now you get to experience the joy of loading film through the bottom . Double stroke or converted to single?
it’s a double stroke but it’s actually a franken-leica combo of m3 and m2 parts. the viewfinder is beautiful and the overall weight and shape suited me well. i also considered a iiif and an m2 but kept coming back to this one. the leatherette is worn off and it looks old but it’s well serviced from a store i’ve bought from before and is kind of hand rebuilt by the shop owner.
Very nice. My eye doctor has an very extensive Leica collection scattered throughout his office area. On my last visit, he mentioned that his Hasselblad was in the shop. Not that I'm jealous ... He is a great guy.
