I've been having fun recently finally trying to wrap my head around tilts and swings on a lens I have. One can get wrapped up in the mathematics of Scheimpflug and all of that (and I do find it interesting), but it's also fun using an electronic viewfinder with focus masking and watch the wedge of focus move around as you introduce tilt and swing. Here the wedge of focus - and I forget the amount of tilt and swing - runs (sort of) from the lower right part of the image and up through the right part of the bench. The left part of the image is out of focus as is part of the right extending from the upper part of the tree to the right of the bench. The image I posted the other day has the right side of the image in focus with the left side more out of focus.

Not jaw-dropping images obviously, but hey, gotta have fun right?
