It may not have made for such a pleasant hike, but to me that sky adds a lot of character to the photo and goes well with the colours. Nice one!

Bayko looks interesting if not a little restrictive. I came around at the point where Meccano lost its crown to Lego.
Mine for today. Not much shooting of late (which I hope to put right this weekend), So just messing in the garden the other evening.

Thanks. I have tbh and say it feels more like winter than autumn when I get up for work and it's pitch black.I like the bokeh here. It really is autumn, isn't it. That's the feeling I get anyway when looking at it.
My cousin next door had Meccano and was brilliant at it. It may have been the possibilities or the limitations of Bayko that inspired me to greater things I don't know but we've built our own house twice now!
No metal rods coming out of the ground though, just nice, cosy timber frames

Struggling with scale there. Is that a model village? the shrubs in front look too big compared to the buildings in the mid ground. Is it a trick of the eye?
Awesome effect if you did it for real. I think there is a ridge there that blends nicely into the mid ground making it look like the buildings are miniature compared to the foliage in the fore ground.

That's exactly what it is, I took this on the other side of the mountain, that's a real mining village and mine.
