I think I'd have sacrificed the reflection in the water for a bit more Sky.

??? Have I missed something?I don't always use watermarks, but when I do they're for the safety of internet forums such as this one.

Cheers - I think you are right AFB, the reflections didn't turn to as strong as I'd hoped.I think I'd have sacrificed the reflection in the water for a bit more Sky.
The water isn't adding much imo. A tighter shot on the copice would look nice.
Great B&W subject to emphasise all the relief carving. Nice one.
I really like the dark blue mono background - really emphasises the light trails and the cold atmospheric of the snow-covered mountain.View attachment 727250 Another one from the NZ trip. Wasn't many cars on the road, so not many chance at getting the light trails, but got lucky with this one.
You need very still clear water. In those circumstances it would have looked spot on.Cheers - I think you are right AFB, the reflections didn't turn to as strong as I'd hoped.

I used to have a yellow MGB-GT. Sigh, I loved that car so much.

Mine sounded awesome too. Even the door thunk was awesome.I used to have a black one. Fantastic little car. Mine had a 2L race tuned engine and a straight through exhaust. It sounded absolutely epic.

Mine had the wire wheels & spinners too. This one was BRG had baskets over the headlamps, wire wheels with the spinners. Exterior was really nice. The owner had a newish Mini parked next to it and all he could do was gush over the Mini. Now if it was an old Mini I could understand. I've driven a new Mini and an old Mini Cooper S. Both were fun but I'd take the old one in a minute. I moved on fairly quickly.

My brother had a recent model Mini Cooper S in red, it was pretty nice, to me. I'm unfamiliar with the older Mini Coopers. Unfortunately his wife talked him into a grey Honda mini-vannish thing. They only have cats, no kids. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
