I think it's a lovely image. And honestly I personally wouldn't change anything about it. But with that said, looking at it with the intent to change something.....have you tried flipping? In general I never flip images; mostly because my daughter has two different colored eyes, so if I flipped an image of her, she wouldn't look right. I also, in general, am against the practice of flipping things in nature as if you walked up to the scene, it would all be backwards. However, with all that said, for this particular image, it feels like the water is flowing the wrong direction to me. I want it to lead from the upper left to bottom right, or from the bottom left to the upper right. For some reason with this specific image it just seems to be going backwards.

I will second this. I suspect that there is a tendency when viewing an image to want to start at the left side and move to the right across the frame, all things being equal, similar to the natural process when reading. I wonder if this aesthetic holds for native speakers of languages that read right to left? For example, would native Hebrew speakers find it more "natural" or "pleasing" for the water to be flowing from the upper right to the lower left as shot?

Thank you all for the valuable feedback. The shot has been bugging me all day since completing editing. The more I look at it, the more I don’t like it.

I actually said to my wife earlier today (before posting) that the image has quite a lot going on in it compared to normal, so I think @Cheese&Apple is onto something there.
Also, I feel the lead in line of the river works “against” the flow of the water, as others have mentioned too.

Decision made, it’s not going on my website.

Thanks again everyone, I appreciate the feedback
