I got to be official team photographer again at my daughters young mariners regatta this weekend. It was tricky overcast conditions, but I got some shots I am happy with.

What's the law regarding collecting those from the tree and not the ground?

Depends where you are...In England, the same applies whether ground or tree; they are the property of the landowner but on land accessed regularly by the public, the landowner is unlikely to object to non-commercial collection from the ground. They are usually difficult to get from the trees without assistance.

Here's another church long exposure - 5-minutes. Could have done with a tilt-shift lens...Comments always appreciated.

One more from home before I head off to the Lake District tomorrow. The weather looks to be a bit iffy up there over the next few days, but it will be nice to get away and enjoy some lovely scenery. Hopefully I’ll get one or two nice shots.

The famous bridge during the peak of Autumn at The Hermitage, Perthshire.
This is one of my favourite places to visit and made all the more peaceful when getting there early before it gets busy.

I absolutely love this photo :)
