Well, the only things I can think of is to rotate the image 1-2 % to straighten up the top of the grass line to horizontal, and there seems to be a hot spot in the top centre of the frame where the trees are a lighter shade of green.Ok, I'm going against my usual way of things by posting an image where I feel there is something I don't like about it - but can't put my finger on it. I shoot for me (always have done) but in this case I'd welcome some critical comments and feedback on this one.
Glenapp in Autumn
October 2017
Soft morning light glows through the colourful beech trees, highlighting the fallen leaves on the valley floor of Glenapp. There hasn't been too much Autumn colour in the Rhinns area this year due to the recent storms - but when you know where to look, the colour can be found.

[doublepost=1509193620][/doublepost]Here is a horribly bad photo in terms of perspective and straight lines, but I really liked all the leather shoes hanging in the window here.

Very old photo of the pier at the end of my street.
I really like your photo --the colors, the light. The forced perspective points to the unusual shoe display.
But in case you were wondering what it 'd look like after being dropped into DxO Perspective:
(I think the straightened version cries out for another centimeter or two at the bottom. It stretched out the cornice & frieze as well which removes focus from the open window.)
I apologize about butting in & mangling your picture. I was curious.

I think it's a lovely image. And honestly I personally wouldn't change anything about it. But with that said, looking at it with the intent to change something.....have you tried flipping? In general I never flip images; mostly because my daughter has two different colored eyes, so if I flipped an image of her, she wouldn't look right. I also, in general, am against the practice of flipping things in nature as if you walked up to the scene, it would all be backwards. However, with all that said, for this particular image, it feels like the water is flowing the wrong direction to me. I want it to lead from the upper left to bottom right, or from the bottom left to the upper right. For some reason with this specific image it just seems to be going backwards.

I think it's good. Perhaps what you're experiencing is your departure from the calm minimalist feel and look that you do so well. There's a lot going on in this shot.Ok, I'm going against my usual way of things by posting an image where I feel there is something I don't like about it - but can't put my finger on it. I'm no expert, but I have found it difficult to comment on a photo that is already such a good shot
Cheers

+1 my thoughts before reading your post, the water is flowing the wrong way and leading you out of the picture rather than into it.
Love the colours and tones. Perhaps it is the angle at which the water appears to flow in the bottom left - makes the photo look like it is distorted. Perhaps a crop to remove some of the left-side would get rid of that effect. Hope you don't mind but something like this?

More likely trying to catch a fish or seal! We've all been there... "I can make it, I can jump over this puddle. It doesnt look that deep..."
[doublepost=1509238978][/doublepost]Adding my belated two cents, you may be uncomfortable with this shot because the eye has no place to rest. One fix is to chop the photo in half horizontally, and oddly the eye will rest on the yellow trees in the back. Must have been awesome in real life.Ok, I'm going against my usual way of things by posting an image where I feel there is something I don't like about it - but can't put my finger on it. Was down there last week at my mother’s place. Are you in Dunedin, Palm Harbor or Tarpon Springs? She’s by the marina in Dunedin.Very old photo of the pier at the end of my street.
