Beautiful. Well worth the effort that went into it.

Thank you, ironically, this was one of the easier ones to take. I suppose having the experience of using the 3:1 ratio in one frame with my GX617 helps me to 'see' a scene in the wider format.

Fantastic shot - I've been there - lovely place!
Did you go up to the top?

Cheers :)

Hugh

Thanks. It really is beautiful there. I went as far as the falls low in the gorge before going up the hill, so I didn't get to the Upper Falls. The joys of trying to cover various locations in one day!

That’s an awesome shot.

Thank you :)

Very nice! By any chance was this near Viera? Some years ago we were there and there was a caracara who had chosen a dead branch like that one as his favorite resting place. Eagles liked it, too! Seeing this photo reminds me of that.....
An hour north but similar ecosystem with both draining into the St Johns River. This was Orlando Wetlands Park near Christmas. Technically a sewage treatment plant filtering treated water on an old ranch that was bermed and flooded. Takes about 40 days to filter through the multiple ponds and now has less phosphate in it that the St Johns has naturally. Previously was direct release and the phosphate caused algae blooms. Open to the public with the miles of berms, foot, bike and horseback only. No pets or small children due to the gators sunning along the berms.

Other sunrise photos earlier this week show the broader area.

USCGC Eagle (WIX-327), formerly the Horst Wessel and also known as the Barque Eagle, is a 295-foot (90 m) barque used as a training cutter for future officers of the United States Coast Guard. She is one of only two active commissioned sailing vessels in the United States military today, the other being the USS Constitution.

Night Falls
October 2018

The Buchan Burn Waterfall on the Merrick trail under the dark night sky of the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park, SW Scotland.

Taken in darkness, this is by far the most technically difficult image that I've ever attempted and many hours went into it. I fully intend on doing more shots like this having learned a lot from the experience.

Fuji X-T2 with Samyang 12mm f2 NCS lens. No filters.
Foreground: 3 images focus stacked @ 2 mins / f2 / ISO 200
Sky: 16 images stacked and aligned @ 15s / f2/ ISO 6400
Composited and finished in Photoshop CC 2019

Huge thank you to @kenoh for giving me an extra eye behind the scenes when editing - I appreciate the help as I felt I was getting tunnel vision having stared at the image for hours in editing through various phases of compositing. I owe you a print or a beer or something!
