One from last month. Was walking around at the KC zoo and saw this mirror on a road to help vehicles get a view of surrounding traffic in their blind spot. In this case, the traffic (on the sidewalk and not in the road) was me and my family.

Taken yesterday in another abandoned factory, this is a quick play with the inbuilt HDR panorama feature in Lightroom Classic CC (which is also available in Adobe Camera Raw that is free to download). A 3 frame panoramic merge of 3 exposures per frame, almost straight out of the box, with just a few minor tweaks made to the outputted DNG file.

Very pleasant colors.
Thanks. I was there again yesterday; not so pleasant.

When we were on vacation in California last month, Apple Maps sent us down a road called Shaky Ridge. Almost every driveway had one of those mirrors, only larger, mounted on a tree at the end of their driveway.

My kind of shot, love it! Wish I could find those soft pastel colours over here.
We’ve had the best autumn that I can recall in a long time. Days are sunny and nights are just above freezing. Makes for great color in most every tree. Usually we get too much warm or too much freezing and trees don’t last but a day or two.

We've had great colour here, albeit a different kind of colour if that makes sense? However, the persistent winds have been a problem. I managed to get away for a break this week and managed one day up in Perthshire and felt like I had luck in my favour as the wind wasn't as strong as forecast. I'll no doubt be posting the images here.

I'd love to see more like the one you posted, it's a great take on autumn.

I’ve been taking quite a few lately, so we’ll see what pans out. Shorter days make that a challenge during the week.

I hope you do get back out, but I guess I better get back to the thread! Here is a wee image I took for the purpose of being a 'message image' on my fb photo page, i.e. not a full feature portfolio image, but one to go with a news / update post. Think of it as a 2nd tier image, as in - I like it, but it's not quite up there with my best. Some beech leaves scattered in the Birks of Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland.

For the record, the leaves were not 'placed' and were taken as seen.
