Alfred again, and, yes, I was this close! I was standing on the boardwalk and he was below me standing near the water's edge. (Sony 100-400mm & 1.4x TC, 560mm). The colorful background is reflections in the water.

Beautiful. I can’t emulate that with his cousin. The green pond full off pond scum doesn’t quite get the same results in the rain.
