So this is one of those images which I intended to heavily manipulate, but when compared to the original, it turns out my changes were quite minimal. Anyways no idea why I even like it, but I do. Looks a bit crisper if you click on it to see it full sized.

This little Green Tree Frog (Hyla cinerea) was hanging out at the porch light looking for his next meal.

For those of you that have provided the glorious close ups of all those small creatures, Apple TV+ has a new documentary devoted to tiny creatures called "Tiny World", great photography from around the world.

It's National Black Dog Day! Yes, this is a (recently made up) thing. There is a stigma against adopting black dogs and they are often overlooked in favor of other color dogs. ?

Aww, what a sweet face!

I'm a little late to the party and this is an older photo but I lost him suddenly to cancer end of May so hope this is okay. My black Lab Sinjin will always inhabit a very special place in my heart.

Took a color photograph and had a play in Photoshop back when.

Allyance, that's a great screen shot of (presumably) someone else's photo as well as advertisement for "Tiny World,", but the purpose of this thread is for us to display our OWN images that WE have shot.....
Yes it is a screen shot, so many of the photographers here get incredible shots, I though they would like to see another point of view of the creatures taken around the world, that they might not know exists. A one time post to let them know about this terrific documentary will not detract from anyone's own images. The subjects are why we photograph them. I got my degree in photography at RIT and have an original Ansel Adams print on my wall. We studied the Zone System in class as well as understanding the processes behind creating photographs.

BTW there are many posts that informational that do not contain any images, I was trying to convey information not plagiarize the documentary. Sorry if that upset anyone. I did notice 9 positive likes.

IMHO starting a separate thread in the Digital Photography subforum about this, including the screenshot and maybe one or two more, would have been perfectly fine. Putting a screenshot of an image not shot by you in the middle of a a thread which is usually and which is meant to be solely images shot by the members sharing the images is not, in IMHO, so fine. I suspect that some viewers didn't even realize that this was not an image that you yourself had shot and yet were submitting, and for me that is where the problem lies.....

You have photographic experience and enjoy photography? Great, then share your OWN images in this thread -- that's what this thread is all about.....

I said I was sorry, ATV+ is part of the Apple family so I wouldn't call it a commercial, I have shared my photographs here as well. It was not my intent to fool anyone into thinking I took the picture of a tiny monkey only found in the canopies of the rain forest. People post here not only to show off their skills, but to share the subjects in the photos, which is why I thought those who find pleasure in taking pictures of other tiny creatures would enjoy the documentary. Creating a separate thread would not have reached those people.
